Watford Junction Train Station

Watford Junction railway station, operated by London Midland, serves the Hertfordshire town of Watford. The station is located a short walk from the town centre and lies on the West Coast Main Line, which connects London to the West Midlands, the North West, North Wales and the Central Belt of Scotland, the Watford DC Line to London Euston and the Abbey Line to St Albans. The station has a staffed ticket office and passengers are also able to collect tickets purchased in advance (for example, on the internet) from one of the automatic ticket machines located in the station.

Facilities at the station include ATM's, pay phones, cafe, shops and toilets. Passengers should note that baby changing facilities are not available at the station. Oyster Card capability was extended to this station in 2007 on both the London Overground and Southern services. It was further extended to London Midland services later the same year. However, passengers should note that the station is outside London fare zones 1–9 and therefore special fares apply.

Passenger services calling at the station are operated by London Overground, First ScotRail, London Midland, Southern and Virgin Trains. Between them passengers services generally depart towards Milton Keynes Central, South Croydon, London Euston, Hemel Hempstead, Birmingham New Street, St Albans Abbey, Liverpool Lime Street, Glasgow Central and Manchester Piccadilly.

Parking is available at the station for 750 vehicles and is open 24 hours a day.

Located in the north west of England, Liverpool Lime Street railway station offers passengers services to destinations including Norwich, Warrington Central, Manchester Piccadilly, Stockport, Sheffield, Nottingham, Newcastle Central, Manchester Victoria, Leeds, York, Manchester Oxford Road, Blackpool North, London Euston, Runcorn and Crewe.

Liverpool Lime Street railway station is operated by Network Rail and is a terminus station of a branch of the West Coast Main Line which connects London to the West Midlands, the North West, North Wales and the Central Belt of Scotland.

Facilities at the station include ATM's, First Class Lounge, pay phones, public wifi, cafes, shops, toilets and baby changing facilities. Parking is available at the station for 280 vehicles and is open 24 hours a day. The station is divided into two sections: the mainline station, which offers national inter-city and regional overground services including local City Line routes, and services on the Wirral Line of the Merseyrail network, located underground between the mainline station and St George's Hall.

In line with Liverpool's role as European Capital of Culture in 2008 the station and its immediate surroundings received a £35 million redevelopment grant. The Lime Street Gateway Project saw the retail parade and office block in front of the station demolished, and an improved frontage and public plaza built.
