Windsor Castle

Windsor Castle is a royal residence in Berkshire, England. The original castle was built in the 11th century following the Norman invasion by William the Conqueror. The original castle has had new section added to it over the centuries which include St George's Chapel in the 15th century and the State Apartments in the early 19th century. The castle is a popular tourist attraction and is the Queen Elizabeth's preferred weekend home.

Windsor Castle is a short walk from both mainline railway stations.
