Wigan Athletic

Wigan Athletic Football Club were founded in 1932 and currently (2013-14 season) compete in the Football League Championship, the second tier of English football. They are the most recently formed club in the division. They play their home matches at the 25,138 capacity DW Stadium.

Wigan North Western and Wigan Wallgate railway stations are adjacent to each other. From either station catch the 628, 632 or 644 bus to the stadium. A short walk will be required to complete your journey.
