Southsea is a seaside resort located in Portsmouth, about a mile from the centre, at the southern end of Portsea Island in Hampshire. Southsea port with its Hovertravel operated Hovercraft service is the ideal passenger gateway to the Isle of Wight and is easily accessible from all parts of the country. Hovertravel operate numerous daily sailings to Ryde on the Isle of Wight.

From Portsmouth & Southsea train station follow the signs to the Hoverbus (bus stop C) which connects with the hovercraft and will make sure you are at the Hovercraft Terminal in time for your crossing.
