Newcastle Airport

Newcastle International Airport is located near the Woolsington area of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, some 6 miles to the north west of the city centre. In 2012 it was ranked the 11th busiest airport in the UK by passenger numbers, handling just over 4.3 million passengers. The airport mainly serves the city of Newcastle, the greater Tyneside area, Northumberland and Wearside. The airport is a base for a number of airlines including Aer Lingus Regional, Air France, BMI Regional, British Airways, easyJet, Emirates, Flybe, Ryanair, Thomas Cook Airlines and Thomson Airways.

Newcastle Airport is approximately 25 minutes travelling time from Newcastle railway station by taking the Newcastle Metro network.
