Liverpool Airport

Liverpool John Lennon Airport is an international airport serving the north west of England and is located 7.5 miles to the south east of Liverpool city centre. Formerly known as Liverpool Airport it was renamed Liverpool John Lennon Airport in 2002 in honour of John Lennon, a founding member of The Beatles. The airport operates domestic services and scheduled flights to European destinations. It is a base for easyJet, Flybe, Iberia, Jet2.com, Ryanair, Thomas Cook Airlines and Wizz Air.

Liverpool South Parkway is approximately 2 miles from the airport. A regular bus service (the 80A and 86A) operates between the airport and railway station.
