Lincoln City Football Club was founded in 1884 and currently (2013-14 season) compete in the Conference National division having following relegated from the Football League. The club play their home matches at the 10,120 capacity Sincil Bank and are nicknamed the Imps after the legend of the Lincoln Imp.
