Leicester City

Leicester City Football Club was founded in 1884 as Leicester Fosse and were elected to the Football League in 1894. The club currently (2013-14 season) compete in the Football League Championship, the second tier of English football and play their home matches at the 32,262 seat King Power Stadium (previously called the Walkers Stadium). The club's highest finish was a second place finish in the top flight in 1929.

From Leicester railway station take a short walk to Rutland Street and catch the 84, 84A, 86 or 88A bus to the football ground.
