Ipswich Town

Ipswich Town Football Club was founded in 1878 and is located in Ipswich in Suffolk. The club turned professional in 1936 and was elected to the Football League in 1938. The club have won the English league title once and the FA Cup once, in 1978. They play their home games at Portman Road which has a capacity of 30,311.
