Great Leighs racecourse

Great Leighs Racecourse is located near Chelmsford in Essex and opened in 2008. It is the first completely new racecourse in the UK since Taunton opened in 1927. However, the racecourse entered administration the following year and it is not known when racing will resume.

From Braintree railway station walk to Braintree town centre and catch the 70 bus towards the racecourse. A 15-20 minute will still be required to complete your journey.
