Glasgow Airport

Glasgow Airport is an international airport located some 7 miles to the west of Glasgow city centre, near the town of Paisley. It is Scotland's second busiest airport (after Edinburgh Airport) and in 2012 it handled over 7.1 million passengers. It is the main airport serving Glasgow and the surrounding areas and is also the principal airport for transatlantic and direct long haul flights into Scotland. The airport handles flights from airlines including British Airways, Flybe, easyJet, Jet2, Thomas Cook Airlines and Thomson Airways.

Glasgow airport is one mile from Paisley Gilmour Street railway station. Taxis can be taken directly from the railway station or alternatively the 757 bus service also takes passengers to the airport.
