Serving the village of Achnasheen in the North of Scotland, the remote railway station of Achnasheen is situated on the Lochalsh Line. Opened by the Dingwell and Skye Railway in 1870 it was operated by the Highland Railway. The railway station served passengers, mail and freight although freight and mail in this area now travels by road.
