The station has a staffed ticket office although passengers should note that it is not open in the late evening. Facilities at the station include ATM's, pay phones, refreshments, shops, toilets and baby changing facilities. The city centre and the Queensgate shopping centre in a few minutes walk from the station.Passenger services calling at the station are operated by CrossCountry, East Coast, East Midlands Trains, First Capital Connect and Greater Anglia. Passenger services generally depart towards London King's Cross, Leeds, Newcastle Central, Edinburgh Waverley, York, Cambridge, Manchester Piccadilly, Liverpool Lime Street, Nottingham, Sheffield, Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds.Parking is available at the station for 731 vehicles and is open 24 hours a day.
