About Peterborough

Peterborough, a city in Cambridgeshire in the east of England, is famed for its Cathedral. The city is approximately 30 miles from the North Sea coast and is connected to the sea by the River Nene which flows through the city.

The Peterborough Museum and Art Gallery has a collection of around 227,000 objects including local archeology and social history, a collection of marine fossil remains and the manuscripts of John Clare, the Northampton Peasant Poet.

The city has many cultural events that take place in or near the city. The East of England Show, the Peterborough Festival and the CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) beer festival which takes place on the river embankbank towards the end of Summer. Peterborough also has the John Clare Theatre, which is located within the city's new central library and is home to the Peterborough Film Society. About Brighton

Brighton is a coastal town and resort in East Sussex, England. The 11th century St Nicholas Church is the oldest building in Brighton, commonly known as "The Mother Church". Other notable churches include the large brick-built St Bartholomew's, St Peter's and St. Martin's, noted for its decorated interior. Brighton's Quakers run the Friends' Meeting House in the Lanes and there is also an active Unitarian community based in a Grade II listed building in New Road, and a Spiritualist church in Norfolk Square. There are also a number of New Age outlets and groups. The seafront has bars, restaurants, nightclubs, sports facilities and amusement arcades, mainly located between the two piers.
