About Manchester
The city of Manchester is located in north west England and is roughly 160 miles from London and has a number of museums and galleries that celebrate its rich industrial heritage, its Roman history, the women's suffrage movement and sport. There is a reconstructed part of the Roman fort of Mamucium which is located in the Castlefield area of the city and is open to the public.
