London Paddington Train Station

London Paddington railway station, operated by Network Rail, is a main line railway station and terminus for the First Great Western services to west London, the Thames Valley and long distance inter city services to south west England and South Wales. The station is also the terminus for the Heathrow Express, a high speed service linking central London with Heathrow Airport. The station has a staffed ticket office and passengers are also able to collect tickets purchased in advance (for example, on the internet) from one of the automatic ticket machines located in the station.

Passenger facilities at the station include ATM's, First Class Lounge, pay phones, public wifi, cafes and shops, toilets and baby changing facilities.

Passenger services departing the station are operated by First Great Western, Chiltern Railways and Heathrow Express. Between them they offer passengers destinations including Heathrow Airport, Reading, Didcot Parkway, Swindon, Bristol Temple Meads, Bath Spa, Cardiff Central, Bristol Parkway, Newbury, Exeter St Davids and Chippenham.

London Paddington is also served by four London Underground lines: the Bakerloo, Circle, District and Hammersmith & City lines. Bridgend Train Station

Located in South Wales, Bridgend railway station offers passengers services towards destinations including London Paddington, Swansea, Camarthen, Pembroke Dock, Milford Haven, Fishguard Harbour and to other destinations across Wales.

The station lies where the Maesteg Line parts from the South Wales Main Line. The station, operated by Arriva Trains Wales, also serves as the western terminus of the Vale of Glamorgan Line which runs from Cardiff via Barry and Llantwit Major. The station was opened in 1850 and was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. both the main platform building and the 1877 pedestrian bridge are Grade II listed.

Facilities at the station include pay phones, refreshments, toilets and baby changing facilities. Passengers should note that there are no ATM's at the station. Parking is available at the station for 102 vehicles and is open 24 hours a day.

Passenger services calling at the station are operated by Arriva Trains Wales and also by First Great Western. There are three platforms in operation. Platforms 1 and 2 are used for all long distance services travelling on the South Wales Main Line. Platform 3 is generally used for services to and from Maesteg.
