The station is the southern terminus of the West Coast Main Line which connects London to the West Midlands, the North West, North Wales and the Central Belt of Scotland. The station is also the London terminus for London Midland services and for services on the Watford DC Line. The station has a staffed ticket office and passengers are also able to collect tickets purchased in advance (for example, on the internet) from one of the automatic ticket machines located in the station.Facilities at the station include ATM's, bureau de change, First Class Lounge, pay phones, public wifi, cafes, shops, toilets, baby changing facilities and tourist information office.Passenger services departing the station are operated by First ScotRail, London Midland and Virgin Trains. Destinations available include Glasgow Central, Edinburgh Waverley, Birmingham New Street, Preston, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Manchester Piccadilly, Stockport, Liverpool Lime Street, Chester, Tring, Milton Keynes Central, Northampton and Watford Junction. Located in North Wales, Prestatyn railway station offers passengers destinations including Manchester, Llandudno Junction, Birmingham International, Cardiff Central, Holyhead, Chester and London Euston. The service to Manchester, Llandudno, Birmingham International, Cardiff and Holyhead are hourly and the service to Chester and Llandudno Junction operate twice an hour. Additionally there are six trains to and from London on weekdays - four on Saturdays.Prestatyn railway station is operated by Arriva Trains Wales and is located on the North Wales Coast Line which connects Crewe to Holyhead. Passenger services calling at the station are operated by Virgin Trains and Arriva Trains Wales.Passengers should note that ATM's, toilets and baby changing facilities are not available at the station.
