The station is situated in the city centre, on New Station Street, and lies on the Leeds Branch of the East Coast Main Line, and a number of other lines on the rail network. The station has a staffed ticket office and passengers are also able to collect tickets purchased in advance (for example, on the internet) from one of the automatic ticket machines located in the station.Facilities at the station include ATM's, a First Class Lounge, pay phones, public wifi, cafe, shops, toilets and baby changing facilities. Leeds Interchange, located at the New Station Street exit, provides onward transport connections, by bus, from the station. Further bus stops are located on Neville Street below the station, as well as around City Square outside the station.The station provides passengers with services to major cities across the UK and also to many regional destinations across Yorkshire. Destinations available include London, Birmingham, Derby, Nottingham, Reading, Bristol, Plymouth, Exeter, Liverpool, Hull, Doncaster, Sheffield and York. These services are operated by CrossCountry, East Coast, East Midlands Trains, First TransPennine Express and Northern Rail.Parking is available at the station for 299 vehicles and is open 24 hours a day.
