Shrewsbury Train Station

Shrewsbury railway station, operated by Arriva Trains Wales, serves the Shropshire town of Shrewsbury. It is the only remaining railway station in the town after Shrewsbury Abbey and other smaller stations were closed. The station lies on an important section of the rail network and is regarded as the rail "Gateway to Wales" with many of the services calling at the station bound for Wales. The station has a staffed ticket office although passengers should note that it is not open in the late evening. Passengers are able to collect tickets purchased in advance (for example, on the internet) from one of the automatic ticket machines located in the station.

The station was given Grade II listed status in May 1969 which applies to the main building on Castle Foregate, adjacent to platform 3.

Facilities at the station include pay phones, cafe and toilets. Passengers should note that ATM's and baby changing facilities are not available at the station.

Passenger services calling at the station are operated by Arriva Trains Wales and London Midland. Passenger services generally depart towards Holyhead, Chester, Wrexham General, Birmingham International, Cardiff Central, Aberystwyth, Manchester Piccadilly, Swansea and Birmingham New Street.

London Euston Train Station

Located in central London, London Euston railway station offers passengers services to destinations including Glasgow Central, Edinburgh Waverley, Birmingham New Street, Preston, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Manchester Piccadilly, Stockport, Liverpool Lime Street, Chester, Tring, Milton Keynes Central, Northampton and Watford Junction. London Euston railway station is operated by Network Rail and is the southern terminus of the West Coast Main Line which connects London to the West Midlands, the North West, North Wales and the Central Belt of Scotland. The station is also the London terminus for London Midland services and for services on the Watford DC Line. Passenger services calling at the station are operated by First ScotRail, London Midland and Virgin Trains.

The station is connected to Euston tube station and is also near Euston Square tube station on the London Underground. It is a short walk from London King's Cross Station, the southern terminus of the East Coast Main Line, and St Pancras International Station for the Midland Main Line and Eurostar to France and Belgium. All of these stations are in Travelcard Zone 1.
