London Kings Cross Train Station

London King's Cross railway station, operated by Network Rail, is a central London main line railway station located on the northern edge of central London - at the junction of the Euston Road and York Way. The station is the southern terminus of the East Coast Main Line which is a high speed line that connects London, Peterborough, Doncaster, Wakefield, Leeds, York, Darlington, Newcastle, Edinburgh. King's Cross is also a London terminus for First Capital Connect services which provides commuter services to areas of North London and outer-suburban/regional services to Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. The station has a staffed ticket office and passengers are also able to collect tickets purchased in advance (for example, on the internet) from one of the automatic ticket machines located in the station.

Facilities at the station include ATM's, bureau de change, First Class Lounge, pay phones, public wifi, cafes and shops, toilets and baby changing facilities.

Passenger services using the station are operated by First Hull Trains, East Coast, Grand Central and First Capital Connect. Located in the north east of England, Hull railway station, sometimes called Hull Paragon Interchange, offers passengers services to destinations including London King's Cross, Manchester Piccadilly, Manchester Airport, Bridlington, Scarborough, Sheffield and York.

Hull railway station is operated by First TransPennine Express and is an integrated rail and bus station. Passenger services calling at the station are operated by First TransPennine Express, First Hull Trains, East Coast and Northern Rail.

In 2010 a statue of Hull resident poet Philip Larkin by Martin Jennings was unveiled on the concourse of the station, marking the 25th anniversary of the poet's death. The statue was located near to the entrance to the Station Hotel, a favoured watering place of the poet. In 2011, an additional five slate roundels containing inscriptions of Larkin's poems were installed in the floor around the statue and in 2012 a memorial bench was installed around a pillar near the statue.
